I struggled with ‘awaken’ or ‘awoken’ but I didn’t have the energy to open Word and do a grammar/spell check.

So I did just now and ‘awoken’ isn’t coming up as an error. I guess that means it’s a more sophisticated use of the English language than your used to.

What’s with the grammar police & your family? It’s about the content, not the grammar! Are you suggesting the content is ‘wanting’ (or ‘wonting’?)?

It has taken me until now (almost 5 p.m.) to recover from the shock of reading this morning from Kristin …. “I was awoken by…” YIKES! Whatever happened to “I was awakened by…”
Is the proper use of the English language, punctuation and grammar not taught in Saskatchewan??!

I confess that I did not look at the photos …. now I can’t. There’s no kleenex provided this site to wipe away all my tears. Seeing such beautiful photos of such a beautiful snow ledge no longer with us would simply be more than I could take.
You may facilitate communication but do you provide counselling?
Oh, wait a minute … I’ll need counselling, and intensive therapy, and kleenex … after spending Groundhog Day with you know who!
