It’s one of the sad comments on life in SK … it seems everyone moves to Alberta, specifically Calgary. When Rhett moved to Calgary, he was following his heart, his love, but most move for the jobs. Some move to be close to the mountains. But check out this link to Rhett’s most recent post on his blog. He has three photos (note to dial-up users – it’s worth the couple of minutes to download these photos) posted of the volumes of snow that has fallen today. The good thing about Calgary is that it will likely have a chinook overnight and all the snow will be gone.

We had 25CM before noon…
Calgary still beats Toronto… weather and all.
It was an an interesting drive to work, I give you that. But its supposed to be 18 degrees tomorrow!
That being said, I still don’t think I would ever move to Calgary because I like it here. The city is great, but being from Edmonton its a little hard to take when the Flames are in the playoffs and the poor Oilers miss out and This probably means that some church in Calgary will want to call me as their pastor…
Hey Erik! I hope internship in Calgary is going well. Yes … you know how it goes … if you suggest you don’t want to have a pastoral call to a certain area, that ends up being the place God sends us for a little ‘reorientation’! Possibly it means you need to get your hockey preferences reoriented!!
