I have been tardy with posting to my blog. My parish work consists mainly with pastoral visiting and worship/preaching leadership. I have had two funerals – one each the last two weeks. It is an honour to be able to journey with folks during one of the most difficult times in their lives. We have several members in hospital currently. I am also visiting our members in care homes or who are unable to leave their homes for worship.
This weekend I finalized a bible study I’ll be leading for the ELW (women of the church). It is based on the book “Eating Your Way Through Luke’s Gospel.” It has been fascinating researching and setting up a teaching plan. It will be a two-part study in July and August instead of the ladies regular circle meetings.

Mom is down for the weekend, from Craik. We didn’t attend Christ Lutheran this morning as I was leading the worship at Regina Pioneer Village in the afternoon. It is a large nursing home complex delivering services to people at all stages of life. There were about forty people in attendance.
I’m feeling like “I’m home” now. I got back to Regina almost a month ago. It’s beginning to feel like I never left Regina and the routines of Doug’s & my life are becoming familiar and comfortable. But I miss my Ontario family!
You had a good sermon on that Sunday. I know Lynn and I both liked it. Thanks also for your work with my aunt’s funeral earlier in the week. I heard you did a good job. I wanted to come down but with everything happening all at ounce it was just not possible.
