I took some fantastic photos while on holidays of our mountain & lake view. The photo to the left shows how there was this gap in the clouds – an almost perfect circle/oval – where the sun was shining brightly on the mountain behind.
This photo tells you about the stunning scenes we lived with every day. The colours were unbelievable.
On Friday afternoon, the three of us returned to Calgary. We stayed with Gordon & Dyanne a) because the hospitality is unbeatable and b) the fumes from the floor refinishing project as well as fresh paint was potent. We did tear down ceiling tiles in the basement (I mainly supervised!) On Saturday, Doug & Rhett hauled loads of old carpeting and wall panelling out to the dump. Everyone worked on various projects. We had a lovely BBQ supper to top off the night.
