I was supposed to spend the morning cleaning up the storage room, but Emily said, “Mom, you should watch this movie that I bought.”
It is the best movie that I have seen in a long time. It is a “slice of life” movie and the characters are so “real”. It spoke to me about tolerance and community. It has many funny moments and I even cried. I manages to keep from going over the edge into sappy.
I’m not going to tell you any details. Resist checking it out on the internet. Go and rent it and don’t even read the back of the box for details. Just watch it! Tonight, Doug & I went to the LTS president’s house to watch this movie as part of a discussion group. It was great to see it again. It seems I never got anyone to go out and rent this movie … or at least no one left a comment. Again I say – it’s a feel good movie about the possibilities of … (I’m not going to tell you!)
