Tiger Lillies on the Slope

I know that I’ve put up a lot of photos of my backyard … but I love it! The tiger lillies, which are about four feet tall, are in bloom. Doug’s mom gave us a few twenty years ago and now I have hundreds after splitting them and moving them many times. It has worked very well planting them on the ‘slope’ as it holds the dirts (which used to be grass.) We have about a four foot drop in elevation in our backyard (our neighbour has a walk out basement). Our lot is a 1/4 acre – 60 x 170 feet – luckily there is lots of room for all the lillies. And the torch will be passed to the next generation … Rhett wants some of Grandma’s tiger lillies for his new house!
