Sorry for the Absence

My router hasn’t been working and Doug replaced it … I could have found other means to post, but I’ve been busy.

Excuses, excuses … are we going to tolerate them , fellow readers?!?!
Doug always looked good, but new glasses are nice!
By the way, Judy and Nigel say “hi” … she must think you’ve fallen into the Bermuda Triangle, or something!

  2. It is the Bermuda Triangle … home in Regina – home in Saskatoon – Seminary. (The seminary gets its own special point in that triangle even if it is in Saskatoon!) Although the first week went well (orientation) it did feel like an emotional pit leaving home again.

  3. Doug says:

BUSY? I think it’s more a case of priorities, I know the truth and the router was a lame excuse, we have two other computers wired into the network that are working just fine. And yes the glasses make me look even better!

  4. Douglas – you are such a truth teller………I prefer my version of reality.

  5. John Pulley says:

Doug; how could new glasses make you look better when your looks were as close to perfection as was humanly possible.

  6. Mary Golem says:

oh John … now you are going to have Doug’s head swelling just like … well, you know ……..
Nice seminary building! Are you working hard? getting ALL assignments in on time?
    behaving yourself?
Ok, ’nuff … I know you can’t do All that!

  7. John – I can’t decide whether to harass you or to agree with you. I like the harassing option better. Of course I have to take another “Boundaries” workshop next week and so harassing is probably frowned upon – surely not between friends though!

  8. Mary – I am working very hard. I’m going to Low Impact aerobics twice a week and I started “Muscle Sculpting” tonight. Soon I’ll be buff!

I already have written a case study and I have my teaching plan in place for a 50 minute presentation for Friday. I’ve interviewed someone for an assignment and my reading assignments are up to date. This is only the second week!!!

And just whom were you comparing Doug’s potential swollen head to? Surely not me – as that would be harassment!!! (Yes, Mary! Three exclamation points)

  9. Mary Golem says:

Kristin…it’s good to hear you are working hard. and … I believe you too!
All’s well here … really busy, but good.
