Jen – I didn’t handle 29 very well. I woke up on Jan 1, 1987 and said outloud, “UGH this is the year I turn 30.” My 29th year was depressing. Being 30 wasn’t nearly as bad.

Fortunately I met all these amazing 55+ women when I was 45 and I realized I could wait to grow in wisdom.

I’m trying to be that role model for your mother. How’s it working so far???

Happy Birthday, Kristin! Soooo glad you still feel 50, ‘cuz you look 51!!! ouch, bet that hurt … and I just know that remark will spark a fiesty response…if, in fact, you’ll still write/talk to me! I know what you others will say knowing I’m about to receive Kristin’s wrath …. Poor Mary .. right??!?!?!
