I almost forgot this story. Last week my wiper washer fluid level light came on … while I was in Saskatoon. I’ve never done this before. I phoned Doug. He told me what to buy. Magically I didn’t get the purchasing done before Doug came up to Saskatoon a day latter … so he bought it for me. When he met me at Fran’s house he lugged the 4L jug and I said, “I’ll do that!” Of course my first problem was that I couldn’t find the little lever on the front of the car to open the lid. Then I couldn’t find the rod to hold the lid up. But right away I did see the cap for the wiper washer fluid.
Doug said, “How did you ever manage in Ontario??” I said the light never came on. I said the light has never come on before when I’ve been driving. Doug said “That’s because I’m always topping the levels up … you use more wipe fluid than Emily!!” I replied, “Steve at the garage in Desboro took really good care of me. He must have been looking after all of that.”
You’ll be happy to know that for the last month I’ve been regularly checking the tire pressure on my tires (slow leak) and adding air each time I got gas. Doug decided I need to get the tires checked this past week. One tire had a nail and the other tire had a screw.
My life is filled with adventures!
Poor Doug!!!!!
Sometimes, Doug, we also wonder how Kristin made it through her nine-month holiday … oops, I meant, internship … in Ontario. She had LOTS of friends . . . and those folks were good to her. She was grateful for that … rewarding some, like Gerald, with ONE bottle of wine for his efforts.
The rest of us prayed a lot for her!
