Doug and I had a “blast from the past” last week when we drove back to Regina.
When we left Ontario in early June we passed a “Hutton Trucking” semi with cattle on it somewhere along the road in Northern Ontario. They are based in Paisley, Ontario … my old stomping grounds.
Last week we passed a cattle-liner on our way to Regina … and it was the same … and then we passed another Hutton semi. They both were loaded with cattle.
I’m sure they were spring calves … newly weaned … and on there way to the weekly stock sales at the Kaedy Market. As of today they are enjoying the pastures of Sullivan Township!
This is my version of reality.
