We had a wonderful worship service at LTS. Two of my brothers – Leslie and Barbara from Swift Current, and Martin and Donna from the family farm at Hanley – came for the service. Doug and my god-daughter, and her parents, also drove up from Regina. It was wonderful to have family there as well as Whylma who is a friend I made through Fran.
We have had a desperate shortage of musicians at seminary this year. No pianist! One of the students arranged for six extended family members to come and play brass and wind instruments, plus his mom played the organ. The singing of hymns was outstanding as this was the first time I have ever seen the chapel filled to capacity. Praising God!
