That’s my girl! Way to go, Jen!
Kristin … Gerald has helped me all afternoon dig flowerbeds, add compost, add bush soil, transplant plants, etc. etc. We ripped out our spreading junipers – ugly things! – and replaced them with a variety of grasses, hostas (from Jen) etc etc … looks great! But no pix … you have to return to Ontario to see them for yourself! Whatya think?!?
Beautiful weather here – spent last night back at the campsite in the trailer. Summer has begun!!!!!!

I think I’d rather have acne than snow for 8 months of the year!

Actually, if our families weren’t in ON, I could see Mike and I living in either Calgary or Vancouver. But now, I long for sunny days, warm weather in May, a touch of humidity and yellow, vertical stop lights. (Yes, I miss the strangest things!)

Oh, Jen … we consider snow in May to be ‘fresh’ and it is what keeps our complexion so clean & clear. Nothing like that smog of southern Ontario!

I know you protest because you miss your husband, but I’m sure if you had the chance the two of you would move west!

Remember … SK is the land of opportunities!

It is true that everyone else did a great deal of work, but I enjoyed planting and moving plants. Nice weather today in Regina.

It is a good thing that Jen gets her ‘fill’ of the West – the experience will sustainer her through the coming year. I bet you can’t wait to have your cup overflow with western hospitality!

Great posts, Kristin! I did notice you did a lot of work too, eh?!?! Yea right, I just hear “poor Doug”, “poor Rhett” and “poor Leah” saying!!!
BEAUTIFUL weather here … but very little gardening work. I’ve been doing Staying Connected … that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.
Jen’s returning to Ontario on Sunday…yeah!
