In this photo you see Sharon doing her magic with a bunch of flowers that church folks had dropped off at the church. I had asked for donations of flowers from people’s gardens and these flowers Sharon artfully arranged. This is the same Sharon who selected and arranged all the flowers for the sanctuary. As you saw in a much earlier post the flowers greatly enhanced the chancel area. I can’t thank Sharon enough for all of her work.
Polly was one of my presenters. She is a dear friend and I love her a great deal. I am blessed to have such wonderful friends.
In this photo you see me with Gerald and Mary. I am so grateful that they chose to take their holidays and come to SK for my ordination. We had lots of fun and the weather allowed them to see SK at its best! In this photo you see that I am wearing the chausible that my internship site, who Mary & Gerald are representing, gave to me. It is beautiful! Bishop Cindy described the chausible (which isn’t often worn in the West) as Eucharistic clothing (a poncho style that a pastor wears when presiding over communion) … and then she added “it’s party clothing!” … everyone laughed!
